The Australian continent is a vast place abundant with beauty. Much of this wilderness can be viewed from roads and highways that traverse it. In addition to what we see from the road there are many beautiful sites accessible to good 4x4 (offroad) vehicles.

Slide on Campers offers a wide variety of slide on camper or tray back camper packages to fit the needs and lifestyles of our customers, with the right slide on camper to suit the capacity of your vehicle.

The idea to build campers happened when Bob Mitchell and family were living in Bamaga, top of Cape York and had a small engineering business repairing campers, canopies and broken vehicles after they had come up the track.

It became obvious that there was a need for a slide on camper that was light, strong and water and dust proof. A tray back camper that was fully self contained, set up for comfort, easy to remove from the vehicle and usable on or off the vehicle and could be set up with annexes or awnings. Easy to stow at home and ready to use, all set up, at a moments notice.

Please note that EVERY SLIDE ON CAMPER is custom built to suit YOUR VEHICLE and YOUR FITOUT. We do not hold campers in stock as each slide on camper's fitout may be different. Versatility and simplicity are key factors in our design.
